Dan Allen has worked for cpd for 24 years and has worked in the 015 th district tactical unit, mobile strike force, special operations section, narcotics unit, DEA task force. Sgt. Allen is also the music director for the Chicago Police Department Chorus. Dan Allen music background started as a kid singing in choirs and learning to play instruments at Christ Tabernacle missionary church under the late Rev. Milton Brunson, Allen went away to college and joined the Northern Illinois University
Black choir and served as the head drummer and one of the assistant directors.
